Our gallery is poised to provide onsite artists’ residencies and gatherings to build community, foster engagement, education and social connection. In our first 12 months, we have hosted over 35 well attended public events as well as four private events. We hold several free events per month!

Come watch Montague's Hot Air Balloon PARADE right in front of the gallery on Saturday, September 21, at 12:00 sharp. The Affordable Art Shoppe will be OPEN before, during and after the parade.

Jackie Leonard, family of our Artist Daniel Harper will also co-lead this circle where all who desire to respectfully listen, share or participate are warmly welcome.

A Journey through the work of three currently incarcerated writers and painters: Santiago Martinez, the first death row artist and poet to collaborate with Open Sky, Juan Hernandez, a gifted artist currently housed in an Illinois penitentiary and Daniel Harper, a talented artist at Eastern Oregon Correctional specializing in wild animals, vintage vehicles and more.
We are also honored to show the work of Marlis Jermutus, a woman artist held behind bars years ago in Europe and how her art has progressed in the decades since then. This exhibit is tied together with the newest 3-D art of local returning artist Michael Louis Mollo.
